01/17/09 Stanton update

TODAY WE HAVE GOOD NEWS:
WE HAVE A RESCUE TRANSPORT FOR 3 OF OUR ALREADY PULLED DOGS TO GO TO TODAY WHICH FREES UP OUR KENNELS WITH LAKESIDE A LITTLE, AND I DECIDED MYSELF TO FOSTER BUSTER THE PIT SO WE HAVE 4 OPENINGS FOR LAKESIDE, WHICH MEANS WE MAY BE ABLE TO PULL MORE DOGS ON TUESDAY (MONDAY IS HOLIDAY, MONTCALM NOT OPEN)
THEY HAVE ADDED MORE DOGS TO THE PF SITE AND WE HAVE TO REALLY TRY HARD TO GET THE LABS OUT, AS R&R CAME IN LAST WEEK AND DID TAKE 3 LABS (YES 3 LABS, SHELBY, BARNEY, AND TROOPER) SO WE NEED TO ACT FAST AND GET THESE GUYS OUT ON TUESDAY BEFORE THEY GO TOO! WE NEED DONATIONS FOR SAMSON, HOSS, BILLY, COMET, AND WANDA (SHE IS NOT AVAIL UNTIL 20TH)…ALL LABS (X)

This is Wanda . She is a little shy but warms up to you very quickly. She is very sweet natured and seems to have a good temperament. She will be available for adoption on Jan. 20Th!

Comet is a very cheery Little boy. He is about 1 year old and very playful. He has a good personality and is in need of a loving home. Adopt him today!

This is Billy. He is a very nice big guy. He is an older adult but very sweet. He came in as a stray and is now available for adoption. Adopt him today!!

This is Hoss. He was surrendered to the shelter by his owners and he is very sweet. While i was taking his pictures he decided to jump right over the wall to see me!! He is about 3 years old but he is still very playful. He is a high energy breed so he needs a lot of exercise. Adopt him today!!

This is Samson. He was also surrendered to the shelter by his owners. He is about 3 years old and in need of a good home. He is housebroke and neutered. His adoption fee is $20.00 and a license deposit of $10.00 if you live within Montcalm County. Adopt him today!

This is Hercules. He is a very playful and very sweet young boy. He looks very vicious but is actually kind of a big baby. He does like to tug at toys and because he is so big and strong we do not reccomend he be adopted to a family with other dogs or children. He will be available for adoption on Jan.16Th! HE WILL BE PULLED MONDAY BUT NEEDS RESCUE/FOSTER..PLEASE EMAIL ME!

This is Brandy. She is a very cheerful little puppy. She likes other dogs and loves children.; She will be available for adoption on Jan. 19Th! NEEDS ADOPTION/RESCUE

I REALIZE THIS IS A LOT TO ASK GUYS...BUT JUST LOOK AT WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN 2WKS TIME WE HAVE PULLED OVER 12 DOGS AND 3 CATS...AND WE CAN KEEP HELPING THEM GET OUT ALIVE AND NOT TO R&R UNTIL WE CAN HOPEFULLY HAVE A RESTFULL NIGHTS SLEEP ON 01/26/09 WHEN THEY DO NOT RENEW THE CONTRACT WITH THEM

We have 2 heartworm positive dogs in rescue & boarding right now that need treatment if you are able to donate for that as well. Dolly & Carson

What do we need? We need a Pitbull rescue to help us with Casper…he was listed as a lab mix, but is clearly apbt and we now need a rescue to step up for him. We have fully vetted him but may have some dog aggression. If interested please contact melissahenchen@yahoo.com to work with her on coordination.
